Jason Segel Bad Teacher

I have never been shy about my crushing on Jason Segel with you, PopWatchers. Between those spectacular Muppets trailers, his hilarious Letterman appearance (honestly, how many people would show that picture on that air?), and his recent impromptu karaoke rendition of Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” with a blow-up doll and his Five-Year Engagement co-star John Krasinski in Ann Arbor, Mich. (trust me, it’s not as weird as you think), I have had plenty of reasons to post my admiration for the star.

So, you would think I’d be deterred when the less-than-stellar reviews for Bad Teacher started coming in. (Entertainment Weekly‘s Owen Gleiberman gave it a hardly passing “C” grade.)But since my love for Segel runs as deep as Marshall Eriksen’s love for Star Wars, pancake breakfasts, and Lily, I’m still giving the comedy a chance. Sure, it probably won’t make me laugh even a fraction as much as this year’s Bridesmaids did, but I have no doubt Segel will, as he so often does, get me to chuckle at his scenes. (His argument about LeBron James in the Bad Teacher trailer could even get the most dismayed Heat fan to crack a smile.)

And I mean, c’mon, it’s Nick Andopolis. What’s not to always love?!

Tell me PopWatchers, are you a big Jason Segel fan, too? Which star will you see in anything, bad reviews or otherwise? Let me know in the comments section below! Latress on the menjay!
