The Muppets trailer

Following through on the promise at the end of last week’s Green Lantern parody, the new Muppets trailer offers what appears to be a genuine look at the film’s plot. Kermit the Frog talks about “trying to get the old gang back together,” Blues Brothers-style, and sure enough, all the old favorites appear to be in attendance. At one point, Kermit protests, “The Muppets have always been about artistic integrity, not cheap tricks!” which, if nothing else, is probably the first time the words “artistic integrity” have been spoken in a Hollywood film in years. Also, the entire cast squeezes into a van and listens to the “Mah Na Mah Na” song. Who’s excited? Check out the trailer:
