Lenny Kravitz lands ”The Hunger Games,” ”Carrie” will be rebooted, and a former Hollywood rent boy tells all

Posted on

? Rock icon and actor Lenny Kravitz has joined the cast of The Hunger Games. He’ll play Katniss’ Capitol-appointed stylist, Cinna. Filming for the book-turned-movie is under way.

? MGM and Screen Gems have reportedly hired playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa for a new adaptation of Stephen King‘s Carrie. Of a possible remake, King tells EW: ”The real question is why, when the original was so good? I mean, not Casablanca or anything, but a really good horror-suspense film.”

? Grove/Atlantic, Inc. has purchased the memoir Full Service: My Adventures in Hollywood and the Secret Sex Lives of the Stars by Scotty Bowers, a former GI who turned tricks in golden-age Hollywood using an L.A. gas station as his base. He claims Cary Grant and Rita Hayworth among his onetime lovers. The book is due out Feb. 14 next year.
