Hungry for more Hunger Games casting news? You’re in luck: Lionsgate has cast two more relative unknown actors to occupy roles as tributes in the upcoming adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ popular novel. Playing the unnamed tribute boy from Panem’s District 6 is Ashton Moio, an actor with a stunt background who has boasted bit roles in series like No Ordinary Family, iCarly, and Dexter. (He also appeared in 2010’s Let Me In.)
Kara Petersen is set as District 6’s unnamed female tribute. Petersen, a stunt woman, has done work for J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Super 8. Moio and Petersen join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, Paula Malcomson, and Willow Shields in the film, directed by Gary Ross. The Hunger Games will head to theaters March 23, 2012.
