Kelsey Grammer, 56, wed Kayte Walsh, 29, on Feb. 25 in a private ceremony in New York City.


Zachary Adam Chesser, 21, who posted online threats against South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker for their depiction of the Prophet Muhammad, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Feb. 24. Chesser pleaded guilty last October to three felonies…. Sharon Stone, 52, was given a temporary restraining order Feb. 24 against Bradly Gooden, the man who was discovered inside the actress’ Los Angeles home Feb. 11…. A grand-theft hearing for Lindsay Lohan, 24, was rescheduled for March 10. When Lohan went before Los Angeles judge Keith L. Schwartz on Feb. 23, he informed her, ”This case does involve jail time, period. If you plead in front of me, if this case is resolved in front of me, you are going to jail, period.”


Fashion designer John Galliano, 50, was dismissed from his role as creative director at Christian Dior on March 1 after an online video surfaced in which he said, ”I love Hitler.” The video had become public a day earlier, prompting Dior spokesmodel Natalie Portman, 29, to release a statement saying that she would ”not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way.” Galliano’s rep had no comment.


Los Angeles police detained Christina Aguilera, 30, on March 1 in West Hollywood following a traffic stop in which her boyfriend Matthew Rutler, 25, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. According to a statement from the sheriff’s department, Aguilera was too intoxicated to ”care for her [own] safety.”… Rapper Juvenile, 35, né Terius Gray, was arrested Feb. 26 in Sterlington, La., for alleged marijuana possession.


Producer-director Gary Winick, 49, died Feb. 27 in New York City of brain cancer. Winick had helmed Tadpole and 13 Going on 30, among other films, and founded the pioneering digital production company InDigEnt. ”Even in a frothy romantic comedy, he found what was really human about a scene, or a character, or a moment,” says 13 Going on 30 star Jennifer Garner. ”I really, really loved him.”… Blues musician Eddie Kirkland, 87, died Feb. 27 after he was in a car accident in Crystal River, Fla. In addition to recording an extensive discography, Kirkland performed with the likes of John Lee Hooker and Otis Redding…. Suze Rotolo, 67, best known for her romantic relationship with Bob Dylan in the early 1960s — about which she wrote the 2008 memoir A Freewheelin’ Time — and her appearance on the cover of the singer’s second album, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, died Feb. 24 of lung cancer at her Manhattan home…. Justin Tennison, 33, who had been featured on the Discovery Channel series Deadliest Catch, was found dead of unknown causes on Feb. 22 in a Homer, Alaska, hotel room.
