Little kids re-enact 'Project Runway' and really make it work

Posted on

I’ve been a huge fan of the kids who re-enact our favorite guilty pleasure reality shows since I saw them take on The Hills. Then they outdid themselves with The Real Housewives of New Jersey. But, thankfully, they’re back, and this time around, they found a more creative over-the-top show to lampoon. Just in time for the Project Runway finale, the kids have taken a stab at the fashion-forward Lifetime series, and they’re playing with all its major stereotypes: the foreign designer with a drawn-on swirly mustache, the ruthless competitor, the over-emotional one, Tim Gunn being vastly unsatisfied with the work ten minutes before the runway, Michael Kors’ point-perfect insults (little Michael Kors is my favorite part of this video), Heidi Klum’s perfect side bangs, an air double kiss that’s done over a foot away from the other person! These kids do indeed make it work. (See the video embedded after the jump.)

As always, the kids are better than their real-life counterparts, except for little Tim Gunn. But maybe that’s because I think that he was far better cast as mini Scott Disick in the Little Keeping Up With The Kardashians video.

What do you think, PopWatchers? Which show would you like to see them tackle next? Real Housewives of Atlanta, anyone? (Imagine mini Dwight!)
