May’s season 5 finale nail-biter left us with a serial killer (Tim Curry) abducting the daughter of just-killed Detective Spicer, leaving a bound, beaten-up Morgan (Shemar Moore) by the wayside. ”It’s a classic kind of cliff-hanger,” says exec producer Simon Mirren. The big change this season? JJ (A.J. Cook) is leaving the BAU in the second episode. ”Someone else in a higher department demands her presence,” explains Mirren. Also in episode 2, Ally McBeal alum Gil Bellows and his offscreen spouse, Rya Kihlstedt, will guest-star as a husband and wife with a missing daughter. And attention, Kirsten Vangsness fans: The writers are penning a Garcia-centric episode. SEPT. 22
