Maroon 5‘s lead single “Misery” from their forthcoming album didn’t necessarily fall on deaf ears, peaking at No. 17 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 singles chart. But it wasn’t the kind of response the quintet is used to. Their last two albums both feature top 10 smashes like “Makes Me Wonder” and “This Love.” So they came a little harder for their second single “Give a Little More,” a bouncing rock track where lead singer Adam Levine gives a woman a “love me or I’ll leave” ultimatum. And today they released its partnering video.
Set in a club, the video finds the boys performing while surrounded by nearly topless women. The sweltering venue gets so steamy that girls start fanning themselves with albums. The song’s as hot as the people look. But I thought the same the same thing about “Misery” weeks ago. Check out the video after the jump and let us know what you think. Are Maroon 5 on the road back to Hitsville? Or are they going to get lost on the way?
What did you think? Their next album, Hands All Over, hits stores in two weeks? Are you buying a copy?
