Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley hospitalized after attack in Japan

Image Credit: PRN/PR PhotosSum 41 singer Deryck Whibley was attacked last night in Japan by three men, according to the band’s Twitter account. Around midnight ET, a message was posted on Twitter which announced, “Deryck Whibley was attacked in a bar last night by 3 unknown people. He is in the hospital now. Japanese police are looking into the matter.” The band are currently on tour in Japan. A couple of hours later, another message appeared. This one explained that “Deryck Whibley is still in the hospital. He was attacked late last night in Japan….”
