'$#*! My Dad Says' exclusive: Co-creator responds to PTC's campaign against CBS sitcom

Posted on

Image Credit: Ron P. Jaffe/CBSThe Parents Television Council is once again campaigning against CBS’ new show $#*! My Dad Says, and this time they’re convinced that the sitcom, starring William Shatner, is about poop. This morning, the PTC issued a stern warning letter to 300 advertisers, urging them that buying time during the sitcom would make them “complicit in the effort to serve up excrement in front of children and families.”

When asked to comment, Max Mutchnick, co-creator and executive producer of $#*! My Dad Says, assured EW there is no title change planned. “As a parent, it is my opinion that the Parents Television Council has much more important s–t to focus on than the title of a sitcom called ‘BLEEP My Dad Says,'” said Mutchnick. Well, s–t.
