The 12th edition of Big Brother on Thursday posted decent gains in viewers and key demographics compared to last summer, CBS announced today. The hour-long telecast, which won its timeslot among adults 18-34 and tied for first among adults 18-49, averaged 7.35 million viewers, up 11% versus last year. It also posted a 17% gain among adults 18-34 and was up 4% among adults 18-49.
It was Big Brother’s best premiere in viewers since the debut of BB 8 on July 5, 2007 and it’s best performance among adults 18-34 and adults 18-49 since BB 9 on Feb. 12, 2008.
Overall, CBS won Thursdays among viewers (7.58 million), and the key adult demographics.
