Transferring these New Jersey-loving guidos and guidettes down to Miami for the first half of the season was bound to yield at least a little drama. But Nicole ”Snooki” Polizzi, 22, insists she and her Jersey Shore pals — who have become veritable pop culture icons since their show debuted in December 2009 — had few problems mingling with the locals. ”The only hater we got was in a club, and he threw ice at us,” she says. ”But he ran away like a scared little brat.” (Having watched season 1, we can only say: Wise move.) Filming resumes in Seaside Heights, N.J., this month, and Mike ”The Situation” Sorrentino, 28, says the cast is leaving with only fond memories. ”Miami has beautiful women, beaches, and weather,” he notes. ”Put that together with that New Jersey style that we bring, and it’s a sight to see. You get everything. Jersey Shore 2 is like a movie.” If only GTL could be in 3-D.
