David Carradine’s widow filed a lawsuit on Thursday in Los Angeles against the production company behind her late husband’s final film, Stretch, according to court documents. Anne Carradine is suing MK2 S.A., alleging breach of contract and wrongful death. The Kung Fu and Kill Bill star was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room on June 4, 2009 — a year ago today. In the filing, Carradine’s wife claims that the 72-year-old actor was contractually promised “all the best available amenities” and assistance while filming overseas, but that he was left behind for dinner on his third day in the Thai city. The papers allege that the production company’s negligence left the actor on his own on the night before his death.
