The CW sets 'Plain Jane' premiere date

The CW will premiere its new reality series Plain Jane on July 28 at 9 p.m. ET, the network announced today. The show, hosted by Fashion Police: The 2009 Grammy Awards‘ Louise Roe, will follow the physical and emotional transformation of one “Jane” per episode, who will receive a new wardrobe and “confidence-building exercises” during the show. Plain Jane is produced by Big Brother‘s Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, and You’re Cut Off‘s Amy Palmer. America’s Next Top Model will serve as a lead-in for the series.
