Former Temptations singer Ali-Ollie Woodson dies at 58

Posted on

Ali-Ollie Woodson, the singer for the Temptations in the 1980s and ’90s, died on Sunday after a battle with cancer. He was 58. Woodson was not a founding member of the group, but after replacing singer Dennis Edwards in 1984, he helped end the Temptations’ dry spell on the charts, singing and co-writing the hit “Treat Her Like a Lady.” He also sang on “Lady Soul” and “Sail Away.”
