Sean Penn pleads no contest to vandalism charge

Posted on

The Associated Press reports Sean Penn pleaded no contest Wednesday to a vandalism charge that stemmed from an incident involving a photographer. Though Penn was not present in court, his attorney entered the plea, and the actor was sentenced to “three years of informal probation and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service.” Additionally, Penn must undergo 36 hours of anger management counseling. In February, Penn was charged with misdemeanor battery and vandalism after kicking a photographer in October.
