We all knew we’d be getting at least one arrow POV shot in the new Robin Hood. The question is: Are arrow POV shots cliché and lame or cliché but awesome anyway? I thought I’d say the former for sure, but then, watching the new trailer’s closing close-up of Russell Crowe’s hands firing his bow, I found myself wanting to see where it went. So maybe I have to go with the latter.
Should director Ridley Scott have resisted the urge, or would you have been disappointed if he’d managed to do the impossible?
