While Casey spent some downtime last week chatting on the phone with family and Crystal enjoyed “baby and boyfriend time,” a few of the other contestants took advantage of their “magical day” and ventured to a Hollywood tattoo parlor. “A little bonding thing,” says Mike, who unveiled a couple of five-point stars on his left arm.

Where did you find time to do this?

Siobhan: We had a magical day.

Lee: It was an awesome day.

Mike: It was the most time on our own that we’ve ever had.

Lee: And what was great was we all said we were going to do it in the morning–

Mike: Well, we said we were going to do this weeks ago.

Lee: But we actually committed. “We’re going tonight,” and we went.

Mike, why did you get the stars?

Lee: ‘Cause he’s a superstar, man.

Mike: I don’t know, I like stars. And I think that the whole reaching for the stars and dreaming and reaching as high as you can just resonates with me. So I just want to go with that.

Siobhan: It’s on my hip, so I can’t show you right now because I’m [wearing a skirt]. It’s roman numeral nine. Well, I was 19 years old in 2009 when I tried out for season 9. So it’s been a really good number for me.

Lee?

Lee: I got something, uh— [long pause]

Mike: Just tell them already!

Lee: I don’t want to put it out there. I like that better. It’s about Chicago; I got something that reminds me of Chicago.

Mike: It’s probably a stripper he met in Chicago. [laughter, which Lee ignores]

Lee: And that’s where it all started for me. It’s somewhat of a Chicago flag. It’s my own little design.

Lee: Oh, this? This came with the tie. This is called bad-ass. [Mike cracks up.] Just kidding. I don’t know why. Miles recommended it to me, and Miles knows what he’s talking about.
