After evading the courts and missing several hearings for their felony case, Randy and Evi Quaid visited Santa Barbara, Calif.’s Superior Court this morning, where they were arrested, reports People. “They came to court this morning hoping that Judge [Frank] Ochoa would forgive them for not showing up a couple weeks ago, but the judge said they showed disrespect by prior failures to appear and by flashing Randy’s Golden Globe award in court the last time around,” said Santa Barbara District Attorney Arnie Tolks.
Bail has been set for $100,000 for both the Quaids. They will appear in court Wednesday. They had originally been arrested in September 2009 after failing to pay a $10,000 bill at the San Ysidro Ranch.
