Adam Sherman’s film explores the negative side of hippie culture. Raised on a commune, Victor learns the dark side of his lifestyle and what people do to maintain this seemingly open world. As he begins to get pulled down by corrupt and drug-addled friends and family members, Victor struggles between leaving it all behind or staying to help to save the ones he loves, ultimately concluding that free love is costly.
