After a decade spent vacillating between snoozy and sublime, Icelandic dream-rockers Sigur Rós went ?unexpectedly playful on their most recent studio album, a welcome development that frontman Jónsi Birgisson extends with this bright solo disc. ”Go Do” and ”Animal Arithmetic” benefit from kaleidoscopic art-pop arrangements by hotshot composer Nico Muhly. But the highlight is ”Boy Lilikoi,” which percolates like a hipster version of Owl City’s ”Fireflies.” B+
