Ratings: 'American Idol' wins Tuesday as most shows drop in viewership

Posted on

Fox’s American Idol won Tuesday night as usual, but it and most other network offerings were down in average viewership from last week. The only network that wasn’t down: The CW! The total viewership for NBC’s Parenthood‘s dropped 8 percent from last week — about an average third-episode drop, but that show could really benefit from a stronger lead-in. The Biggest Loser, also suffering from low viewership this season, was up against a two-hour American Idol.
