The star-studded Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge is finally in the black, according to Variety. The powerhouse drama about a Brooklyn longshoreman who becomes romantically obsessed with his niece stars Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber and is directed by Gregory Mosher. The production, which the producers said was capitalized at around $2.5 million, has four weeks remaining in its 14-week run. There was talk of extending the show, but due to scheduling conflicts with the cast and the venue, that appears to be a non-starter. Either way, the news is a positive sign for Broadway in a rough financial climate. The show has pulled in roughly $7.2 million in its first 10 weeks.
