'The Cutting Edge 4': Brendan Fehr is 'the Bad Boy of Speed Skating'

Posted on

WARNING: ABC Family is running a Cutting Edge marathon this Sunday, beginning with the original film at 2 p.m. ET, and ending with the premiere of the fourth movie in the franchise, The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice, at 8 p.m. ET. Before you consider yourself immune to the powers of a mismatched pairs team, ask yourself if you haven’t somehow ended up seeing the first two ABC Family sequels. No? You are stronger than me. Can you honestly say you don’t want to know what physically impossible trick will win gold this time?

So, after landing the death-defying Pamchenko, The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’s Alex Delgado (Francia Raisa) is partnerless and playing it safe as a skating instructor. Cue James McKinsey (Brendan Fehr), who’s been dubbed “the Bad Boy of Speed Skating” after getting himself banned from the sport and losing his sponsors. He’s the one with the idea for a move that no one else has ever done, that requires “complete trust and total dedication.” Watch the preview and sneak peeks below. How can you resist, especially when they’ve updated the formula (the coach is now Chinese)?
