Hollywood Week boosted American Idol‘s viewership by about 12 percent from last week. NBC’s The Biggest Loser suffered from Idol competition from 8-9, but viewership shot up by 27 percent from start to finish. Meanwhile, the debut of Fox’s Idol followup Past Life faltered in the 9-10 p.m. hour against Loser and CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles.
