Carrie Underwood to sing national anthem at Superbowl

American Idol winner turned country superstar Carrie Underwood has been chosen to sing the national anthem at the upcoming Superbowl on Feb. 7, according to the AP.

Classic-rock icons the Who are slated to provide the halftime entertainment, and Queen Latifah will also reportedly appear to perform “America the Beautiful.”
