These pictures are from two upcoming TV movies starring Brian Austin Green and Eddie Cibrian. Which network will they air on? It’s sort of a trick question, but if you guessed Hallmark Channel, we’ll take it! Congratulations! You, too, have watched enough Hallmark original films to know to expect attractive actors wearing more layers than necessary.
Technically, The Wild Girl featuring Green will premiere on Hallmark Movie Channel on April 24. Based on the 2005 novel The Wild Girl: The Notebooks of Ned Giles, 1932, the film stars Green as “a budding young photographer who goes on an expedition in the Sierra Madre Badlands to search for the kidnapped son of a wealthy landowner.”
Cibrian’s film, Healing Hands, will debut on Hallmark Channel proper on March 20. I’ve written about this on PopWatch before because it sounds too awesomely bad to be true: Cibrian is Buddy, a school janitor living in a garage apartment at his adoptive parents’ house (his dad is played by Patrick Duffy!) who suddenly lands in a coma. When he wakes up, he realizes he has the ability to heal others just by touching them, although he must drain his own energy to revitalize theirs. He finally feels appreciated, but his gift begins to threaten his health and his relationship with his fiancée. (Does that mean he touches other women?) I just love that they “made” Cibrian a janitor by adding a beard.
Did you guess right? Could you distinguish between Hallmark, Lifetime, and ABC Family originals on photos alone? Easy, right?
