Celebs play charades for charity

Julia Roberts, John Krasinski, and Philip Seymour Hoffman were among the actors who played around onstage to raise money

It was an evening of fun and games — and raising money to support NYC’s LAByrinth Theater Company — when Julia Roberts, John Krasinski, and others gathered on Dec. 7 for Celebrity Charades 2009 (cosponsored by EW). So who won? Well, fans, of course, who got to watch the stars let loose on stage. Ultimately, the ”Flappers” team — including SNL‘s Kristen Wiig — took home the title.

· Bobby Cannavale (Cold Case) and John Krasinski acted out clues like ”Islands in the Stream” and The Tempest

· Sam Rockwell (Everybody’s Fine), who competed with Julia Roberts and Billy Crudup, scored by pantomiming The Road

· Law & Order: SVU‘s Christopher Meloni passed when he drew the clue Mall Cop

· Roberts (who palled around with Philip Seymour Hoffman) ruled the event, even though her team couldn’t interpret her sexy gyrations for In the Heat of the Night
