Without adjusting for inflation, 2009 became the biggest box-office year on record today, according to Hollywood.com Box Office. The year’s box-office total is projected to hit $9.682 billion Wednesday, surpassing 2007’s record total of $9.68 billion. With many highly anticipated films still awaiting release this month, Hollywood is bracing for its first $10 billion year ever.
