Greenpeace coming to big screen

Posted on

A new film will chronicle the origins of the Greenpeace movement, Variety reports. National Treasure director Jon Turteltaub has signed on to direct. Set mostly in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the film will be told through the eyes of the organization’s founders Bob Hunter and Rex Weyler. Aaron Sorkin is in early discussions to write, according to Variety.
