'Arrested Development' writers working on movie script

Posted on

Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz and co-executive producer James Vallely are writing a script for a film based on the cult TV comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rumors of a big-screen sequel have circulated since Arrested Development went off the air in 2006. Details of timing for the film remain unclear, as many of the show’s actors (Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Michael Cera) have been working on other projects.
