Ratings: 'SYTYCD' holds its own against POTUS

Posted on

President Obama’s health care speech bumped out the big three networks’ scheduled programming from 8-9 p.m., averaging 21 million viewers — but Fox got in there, too, with the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance‘s season 6. Fewer people caught the much-hyped fall premiere of Fox’s Glee than NBC’s latest America’s Got Talent hour, but Glee walloped AGT in terms of younger viewers (18-34). The two-hour premiere of America’s Next Top Model‘s cycle 13 pulled in a smaller audience than past cycles’ premieres, but did gain viewers in its second hour despite fresh competition from Glee. Visit our TV Watch homepage for recaps of all of the aforementioned titles, plus (mmmm…) Top Chef.
