Paul W.S. Anderson plans 3-D take on 'Three Musketeers'

Posted on

Resident Evil veteran Paul W.S. Anderson plans a 3-D update of The Three Musketeers. The Hollywood Reporter writes that Anderson has written the script with Andrew Davies (Bridget Jones’s Diary). The filmmaker said he plans to modernize Alexandre Dumas’ 1844 action-adventure-romance, but not necessarily lose the period setting. Anderson plans to shoot the project in 2010 in France and Germany, to be ready for a 2011 release.
