Michael Jackson’s family is at work on its own private ceremony, the Associated Press reports. Few details were given other then to say that it will be held at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills. Assistant Police Chief Jim McDonnell told the wire service Sunday that his department is working with the Jackson family on a “private family function” at the cemetery. No date for the event was given. The officer also said that the police department plans to shut down streets on Tuesday around Staples Center to keep out the tens of thousands of fans they expect to show up to the public memorial without tickets.
