Mia Farrow and Soon-Yi Previn will not be called to testify against Woody Allen in American Apparel trial

Posted on

A lawyer for American Apparel, the clothing company Woody Allen is suing for using his image in its ads without his consent, confirmed to Reuters that neither Farrow (the filmmaker’s former girlfriend) nor Previn (his wife) will be summoned to the witness stand during the trial. Earlier this month, Allen made a plea to the New York judge assigned to the case to help prevent Farrow and Previn from being subpoenaed to testify. Allen is seeking more than $10 million in damages at the trial, which begins in New York City on Monday, May 17.
