Fox News' Roger Friedman under fire for reviewing 'Wolverine' bootleg

Posted on

Fox News entertainment columnist Roger Friedman is in hot water after posting a review of a pirated version of 20th Century Fox’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. After his posting his review online, News Corp., which owns both Fox News and 20th Century Fox, announced that Friedman had been terminated. However, a Fox News spokesperson told Variety that “this is an internal matter that we’re not prepared to discuss at this time,” while Friedman is quoted in Variety saying that he had not been terminated. His review is no longer on the Fox News site but can still be found elsewhere on the Web.
