Paul Weitz (In Good Company) is in talks to direct Little Fockers, the third film in the Meet the Parents franchise. Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner are signed on to reprise their roles, Variety reports. The film is expected to start shooting in July and be released in 2010, a decade after the original.

I feel like I should be excited — it’s very fun to say “Little Fockers” and I have a rare appreciation for Teri Polo (and her hair, which looked fantastic during a recent two-episode guest arc on Ghost Whisperer) — but I’m kinda not. The fact that John Hamburg (I Love You, Man) is rewriting the script sounds promising and yet…nothing. You?
