Bachelorjason_lGood news, fabricated-romance fans! There are only 19 more days until the premiere of The Bachelor: Tragic Single Dad Edition. As you may know, former Bachelorette reject and single father Jason Mesnick will get a second chance at televised humiliation love starting Jan. 5, when he begins his reign as the new Bachelor. Today, ABC released some new details about the women who will be vying for his wounded heart in this, the 472nd season of the addictive dating series. In a Bachelor first, four of the rose-seekers will be single moms — because nothing says “quality wife material” like a woman who’s willing to leave her children for an extended period of time to go on a reality show. Then again, given that Jason has already whored his son Ty on television, perhaps he and one of the single moms will be a perfect match. After the jump, ABC’s press release; I’ve highlighted the most hilarious important parts.
