(Monday, April 12) – Entertainment Weekly today announced the launch of its Must List App for iPad featuring the ?Must List,? the popular magazine feature highlighting the top 10 things EW’s editors love each week.
The app (available from the App Store on iPad or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore/) allows pop culture fans to interact with each week’s Must List like never before. Users can watch movie trailers and listen to audio samples provided by iTunes ? all without leaving the app. Then with a tap, users can purchase favorites from iTunes and other destinations. In addition, users can save favorites onto a personal Must List, and browse selections on a weekly basis or by category. The content is refreshed each Friday.
The app contains a number of optimally-placed branding opportunities, including the ability to host and play sponsor video or point to an external website.
