EW.com's new blogs: Dave Karger's Oscar Watch and Margeaux's Mix

Posted on

Margeauxkarger_lIf you have PopWatch bookmarked in your browser (because you’re awesome) and therefore seldom visit our homepage (less awesome), I could be about to blow your mind: EW.com has two new specialized blogs for your workday-wasting pleasure.

Dreamboat Dave Karger’s Oscar Watch has begun a tireless countdown to 2009’s awards night. Last week, the Karg broke the news that Heath Ledger will be considered for Supporting Actor category and lamented that most of the potential Best Picture nominees will be released so late this year. Over the next few months, he’ll be posting news, exclusive video interviews with Oscar contenders (like Anne Hathaway and Julianne Moore), and roundups of each week’s top performances.

Meanwhile, over at Margeaux’s Mix, music maven and office fashionista Margeaux Watson delivers concert reviews (like TV On the Radio in Brooklyn), on-the-scene reports from industry events (like the BET Hip-Hop Awards), and snap judgments on the latest music videos (Britney’s “Womanizer”).

Or maybe it would be easier to just say “Read these new blogs because everyone who writes them/is featured in them is super hot!” Either way, as the Tim Gunn voiceover says in those annoying Parsons promos they show during Project Runway, “Just mmm-go to the website!”
