If you love The Score (“Fu-la-la-laah!”), you’ve probably spent the last couple of years wondering when the Fugees (pictured, back in the day) were gonna get back together for real. After all, they were pretty good playing Dave Chappelle’s Block Party back in 2004. But now, courtesy of Pras (at right), we have a better sense of when to expect the reunion: Never!

Pras — who’s got a documentary coming out on August 24 called Skid Row, about his experiences living as a homeless guy for a couple days — filled in Billboard: “We went in the studio and recorded a couple records that were incredible. But, to put it nicely, it’s dead. Me and [Wyclef Jean, at left], we were on the same page, but Lauryn [Hill, center] is in her zone, and I’m fed up with that s—. Here she is, blessed with a gift, with the opportunity to rock and give and she’s running on some bulls—? I’m a fan of Lauryn’s but I can’t respect that.”

Too bad all around, huh? No word from Clef or Ms. Hill, so you’ll have to speculate on who’s being self-serving or obstructionist, or on when, if ever, we might hear the couple of tracks that are in the can.
