We gave it a C+
Following the death of his wife, detective Kimmo Joentaa goes on the hunt for a killer who silently murders his victims in their sleep in Jan Costin Wagner?s Ice Moon.
The long days of summer in Finland lend the story a hallucinatory quality.
Less concerned with the straightforward thrust of a typical thriller, Wagner instead focuses on Joentaa’s deep philosophical grief, which unfortunately results in a diffuse story that fails to grab hold. C+
