We gave it a B
The journalist Peggy Orenstein details her six-year quest to have a baby in vivid, often excruciating detail in Waiting for Daisy.
”I’d been through six months of Clomid, two rounds of IVF, three miscarriages, and a year of acupuncture.”
Orenstein renders her experience in beautiful prose, but there isn’t much to differentiate it from all the other fertility memoirs glutting the market. (There’s definitely such a thing as too many books on the same topic!)
