Barbara Walters better watch her back. The Queen of All-Media is hosting her own pre-Oscar interview special — but with a twist. Instead of sitting down with the stars herself a la Babs, Oprah is enlisting past winners Julia Roberts (pictured with Winfrey at the 2005 Oscars), Nicole Kidman, and Jamie Foxx to interview an Oscar-winner each one admires: George Clooney, Russell Crowe, and Sidney Poitier, respectively. The hour-long program wil air three days before the Feb. 25 Oscar telecast and will immediately follow a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy. That Oprah. She doesn’t mess around.

Walters’ special will air as usual right before the Oscars telecast, although The View den mother hasn’t announced yet whom she plans to make cry this year.

Personally, that seems like a lot of Oscar pre-shows to me, but what do you think, PopWatchers? Is there such a thing as too much hoopla about the Oscars?
