We gave it a C+
This New Jersey screamo band’s first album — 2004’s clear-eyed Let It Enfold You — was named for a Charles Bukowski poem. But after two years on the road, they’ve given their follow-up, Still Searching, a far more generic title — and churned out music to match. You’ve heard this all before: lyrics about loneliness and pain accompanied by heavy riffs and conventional harmonies (with throat-ripping shrieks here and there for variety). Can too much Warped Tour be hazardous to your creative health?
