It’s official: My transformation from urban-hipster wannabe to complete and total geek is complete. Not only am I staying at home on Fridays to catch new episodes of Battlestar Galactica, but I just squealed like a 5-year-old lass after finding out SciFi has purchased the U.S. broadcast rights to BBC’s inspired new version of Dr. Who, starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, and will start airing it in March. A British connection loaned me a handful of episodes, and seriously, it’s the best show none of us are being allowed to see. Check out the inspired teaser: Dolly Parton, the National Anthem, and the promise of the Daleks. H-O-T!
