AOL Music has an exclusive video of Beyoncé’s spirited rendition of ”Proud Mary,” from the Kennedy Center Honors telecast airing on CBS tonight (9-11 p.m. EDT). From the hair flip, to the frantic choreography, to the fierce growl, the Destiny’s Child star pays delicious homage to honoree Tina Turner’s ”easy/rough” rendition of the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic, but even more amusing is the totally un-funky response of the older-skewing, tux-clad crowd — including Tom Brokaw, President George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Vanessa Williams, Robert Redford, and Glenn Close. In the famous words of DC3, ”I don’t think they can handle it!” How about you, PopWatchers?
