I was really psyched when I heard you were coming out with a two-hour special on Sunday called 50 Cutest Child Stars: All Grown Up, and even more elated by the news that The Cosby Show‘s Rudy (Keshia Knight Pulliam, at left and rrrrright) and some other girl were hosting. The only thing that bothered me was this: Wouldn’t it be kind of awkward watching little Rudy declare herself No. 1 at the end of the program? It’d be like having Doris Roberts hand out the Emmy for best supporting actress in a comedy.
The thing is, though, I just read through your full list of 50, and there’s some kind of typo. Rudy is listed at No. 11, and you certainly couldn’t have meant to rank her below the likes of Haley Joel Osment, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Alyssa Milano, could you? And while we’re on the subject of discrepancies, where the heck is Shirley Temple?
All right, E!, you’ve got less than a week to figure out where to put Rudy in a top 10 that also includes Drew Barrymore, Gary Coleman, Henry Thomas, Jonathan Lipnicki, Macaulay Culkin, Dakota Fanning, and Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson.
PopWatchers, any other suggested fixes to the list?
