You don’t need Spidey sense to know that Marvel’s hero is the most marketable comic character in comics-happy Hollywood. (Even Tobey Maguire — who almost swung out of the picture over reported salary issues — figured out that Spider-Man’s suit is more valuable than the guy squeezed into it.) The June 30 sequel is sure to be a smash. Sony knows it can’t keep mastermind director Sam Raimi forever, but — phew! — he’s on board for film No. 3.
