Pamela Anderson says it’s doubtful she’ll see her 50th birthday because of her hepatitis C. ”I think I’ve got a good 10 years left in me, which is sad, too. Maybe 15, if I’m lucky,” she tells Us Weekly magazine. However, the 36-year-old adds that she’s feeling healthy thanks to a homeopathic remedy that she’s taking instead of the conventional treatment, interferon injections. ”It’s scary, but lately I’ve been feeling great,” she says. ”For some reason, my liver keeps getting healthier.”
In 2002, Anderson claimed she got the ailment from sharing a tattoo needle with ex-husband Tommy Lee, who denied having the disease or infecting her. That was at the height of the divorced couple’s bitter custody battle over their two sons, since resolved. In fact, Anderson and Lee are on friendly terms these days, the ”Stripperella” star tells Us, adding that her relationship with former fiancé Kid Rock has cooled. ”We’re not engaged anymore,” she says of Kid. ”Our relationship is not really something you put a label on. He wanted to buy me a house in Malibu, Calif., [in August], but the thing is, I really just need to be with my kids and work on their relationship with their father.” Of the former Motley Crüe drummer, she says: ”There’s definitely a lot of love and history between Tommy and me, that’s for sure. It doesn’t matter whether we’re together or not. We’re crazy about each other — always have been, always will be.” Of sons Dylan and Brandon, she says: ”I’m just happy that my kids are having a healthier, better relationship with their dad. Now we spend a lot of time together as a family — we go to movies, we cook dinner, everything.”
In fact, according to the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column, Anderson spent an evening last week with Kid Rock at New York’s St. Regis Hotel, while Monday, she was on Lee’s arm at the Hollywood premiere of ”Scary Movie 3.” Sounds like one big happy family.
